Paleo and Keto Friendly Chocolate Chip Banana Protein Pancakes

Written by Harrison Levy — November 19, 2018

Theres nothing quite like pancakes for breakfast. In fact, some of my best childhood memories consist of getting up on a Saturday morning, and eating chocolate chip banana pancakes while I watched cartoons on the couch.

As amazing as those memories are, I don't think I've eaten pancakes in about 15 years. Why? Traditional pancakes are full of gluten, sugar, and dairy. They basically have zero nutritional value, and make you feel sluggish after eating them. While they do taste like a little piece of heaven-- they aren't exactly the type of food I'd recommend putting in your body first thing in the morning to fuel your day.

Lucky for you, we developed a chocolate chip banana pancake recipe that tastes a lot like those real pancakes you know and love, but only uses 100% paleo approved ingredients. They're super easy to make (you can whip them up in about 10 minutes), they're packed with protein, good fats, and other nutritious ingredients to help you start your day on the right note, and best of all-- the taste.

These pancakes make for a super simple yet nutritious breakfast, or even a tasty post workout snack. If you decide to give it a try, let us know what you think. Hope you enjoy!
